Iremongers Pond, Wilford, Nottingham..

Situated only a couple of miles from Nottingham City Centre this Water is popular with locals and anglers who do not have transport. The pond is actually situated very close to the River Trent near The Wilford Toll Bridge. Most species of course fish are present and Carp to 20lbs are occasionally reported. Depths range from 5- 12ft and fish are taken on most of the popular baits. Day Tickets are available on the bank, however, night fishing is not allowed. Parking is available on surrounding roads.

How to get there...

From the B679 Clifton Lane/Wilford Lane turn into Wilford Village. Continue along Main Road to the Toll Bridge approach. The pond is On the right. As an alternative park at the Wilford end of the Victoria Embankment and walk over the Toll Bridge to the pond.
