River Soar, Beeby’s Meadow and Woodside, Near Kegworth, Nottinghamshire

This stretch of the River Soar is quite under used but offers very good Roach, Bream and Chub fishing for members that do fish it. From where Kingston Dyke flows into the main River the Association have the rights to fish for 300 Yards upstream (Beeby’s Meadow) and 450 Yards Downstream (woodfield). Parking is only available at the roadside. The River is 300 Yards from the road. Members only. No Night Fishing.

How to get there.
From Clifton Bridge continue along the A453 for 6 miles. Just after the Ratcliffe Power Station turn left into Kegworth Road and continue for 1 mile to where Kingston Dyke passes under the road. Access to the river is on the right. Go over the gates and walk down either side of the dyke to the river.
