River Trent, Farndon, Nottinghamshire...

Around 40 pegs of very good steady river fishing downstream of the Farndon Ferry. Bream and chub are the main species although roach and Barble also show at times. Access is very good especially at the bottom end of the stretch, with a car park on the riverbank. Day tickets are available on the bank.

How to get there...

From Nottingham take the A46 towards Newark, turn left at Farndon crossroads and follow the road down to the river where there is a car park adjacent to the toilet block. Walk downstream to the start of our water at the first clapper gate. Further pegs are available over the footbridge at the marina entrance.

To gain access to the bottom pegs continue along the A46 for another ½ mile and turn left into Long Lane. Continue straight on (the road turns into a track) and the car park is at the bottom of the track.
